Why did you get into fitness/training?

My passion for fitness has always been inevitable, but what I value the most about it is the difference it makes outside the gym: confidence, stress management, internal drive, and the overall sense of accomplishment. It is that drive that makes it become a competition between you and yourself to be better, to eat smarter, train harder, and to set goals and standards you only dreamed of. I became a trainer because a lot of people cannot see potential within themselves and self-sabotage many of their own dreams.  My job is to trigger a little fire in their soul, giving them extra confidence and guidance to make their dreams into goals, then their goals into reality. To be a part of this transition, with every person being completely unique, is truly an amazing experience.

What is your favorite exercise?

Hands down, my favorite exercise would have to be the deadlift.

What are your hobbies?

When I’m not in the gym, I’m guaranteed to be in the kitchen experimenting with food and making new recipes. I’m kind of a dork; I’m always researching or studying something- I love learning new things. I have two doggies that are essentially my children, so daily walks are a must. My summer favorite is roller blading; not too sure if anyone still does that anymore, but I sure do!

What are your goals?

My goal is to bring the “personal” back in personal training. I am old schooled, so I want to physically see and work with my clients as they smash their goals and their own expectations. You can expect a very personable, hands- on approach when training with me, but also kick in the butt when needed. Another goal is to constantly learn and better myself by continuing my education to provide my clients with a strict science- based approach on training. A nutrition certification is the next step for me, as I want to expand my services to provide the ultimate package of health and wellness. A personal goal of mine is to earn a pro card in a natural bikini bodybuilding federation.

What is you cheat meal?

Either peanut butter (on everything and anything) or veggie sushi.
